A Cheyenne Indian boy, the sole survivor of his massacred tribe, is taken to live with white settlers by a bounty hunter. As the years pass, the bounty hunter becomes the marshal of Oklahoma's first all-black town. The area's Ku Klux Klan and a wealthy businessman harass the settlers. The grown Cheyenne joins the bounty hunter to fight the hatemongers.
