One of the many shows produced by Gene Autry's Flying A Pictures, The Range Rider, stars Jock Mahoney as the square-dealing Range Rider, a wandering defender of justice. This action-packed and good natured series co-stars Dick Jones as Dick West and features many illustrious guest stars such as Lee Van Cleef, Denver Pyle, Sheb Wooley, Francis McDonald, Clayton Moore, Harry Lauter and Alan Hale Jr. in recurring roles. As was common in"oaters" of the time, even the horses received credit: Range Rider rode "Rawhide" and Dick rode "Lucky". The 6'4" Mahoney ws a former stunt man whose athletic skills became legendary as he performed his own, often difficult stunts on the show. Featuring 10 favorite episodes: The Crooked Fork, The Last Of The Pony Express, Cherokee Round-Up, Treasure of Santa Dolores, The Holy Terror, Border City Affair, Bullets and Badmen, West of Cheyenne, Convict at Large and The Buckskin.
